Millets: Nourishing our bodies, nurturing our planet.

Millets are a highly varied group of small-seeded grasses, widely grown around the world as cereal crops or grains for fodder and human food. Most species generally referred to as millets belong to the tribe Paniceae, but some millets also belong to various other taxa. Millets are one of the oldest crops known to humans and can grow in adverse weather conditions with marginal irrigation requirements. They were first domesticated in Asia and Africa and later spread across the globe as a cereal crop for the evolving civilizations.
